Focus Strategies Merchant Investments was founded in 2014 by four Central Texas family offices to invest in lower middle market companies. Interested in filling the void left by increased regulation in credit markets, FSMI bridges the financing gap by providing mezzanine debt and minority equity to growing and profitable companies.

We are an investment company, not a fund, which to us means that we have flexibility in the structure of our investments and are not held to artificial time horizons. Instead, we desire to partner with experienced operators in need of more permanent working capital for a growing business.

The experience of our team and family offices is vast, and we bring that to bear for both the investment company and the portfolio companies with which we partner.
